About the Event

Banishing stress is vital to preventing lactation problems. Did you know that adrenaline caused by stress inhibits the production of oxytocin, which promotes your release of breast milk? Learn calming techniques through meditation and yoga you can practice effortlessly — while caring for baby and working from home. Kenia Clark, B.S., Registered Yoga Instructor and Healthy Horizons Operations Manager, will be your encouraging guide as you learn:

· Stress relief meditation

· Gentle postpartum yoga

· Proper stretching techniques

What you’ll need to have:

· A chair without armrests is ideal, but most with armrests can still work

· Loose-fitting or stretchy clothing

· Yoga mat is not required; however, a towel, blanket, or carpeted area provides cushioning underneath while you lean on the chair

Check with your physician before doing physical activity. If you experience pain, please stop immediately.

Length and Format: 45 minutes (35 minutes instruction and demonstration; additional 10 minutes throughout for Q&A with questions submitted via text chat)

**Register up until 45 minutes before event to receive meeting link. Your link will be sent separately before the event. If you have not received your meeting link before the event, please check your email spam folder. For assistance, please contact us at info@hh-bc.com**
